A Day in the Life- What do I do as a beachbody coach?

Becoming a Beachbody Coach has been one of the biggest blessings in the past five months. I originally signed on as a coach to get a discount on my Shakeology; but after my sponsoring coach put me into an apprenticeship program, things began to click!  I could inspire and motivate others to accomplish their goals while accomplishing mine too. Making a difference in people's lives has always been a dream of mine, but because I am introverted, I could never figure out a way to actually do it.  A few of you have expressed interest in becoming a coach or finding out more, so I wanted to give you a preview of how I fit my business activities into a workday.  I work part-time when it isn't tax season and full time during tax season.

Here's a little snapshot from a normal working day:

4:45AM WAKE UP!!! (My alarm begins to go off at 4AM, and I snooze it until then, it's like tricking myself into thinking I got more sleep than I was supposed to)
- while I'm still in bed, I'll check in with my challengers, post their daily motivation or assignment and then I'll post on my Facebook page
- I drink 1 scoop of my preworkout E&E and then head to the couch with a cozy blanket.
-I'll have 15-20 minutes of personal development. Right now, I'm finishing up The Compound Effect, which has been amazing in realizing that your direction only needs to change a degree or two in order for your life to change dramatically
-Then, lately, I've been waking up my husband to workout with me. We've been doing the 21 Day Fix.
-I post a bit of my workout and begin writing a blog post for that week or following up with people interested in challenge groups
- the boys will wake up and I'll get breakfast ready and a peppa pig (their latest obsession)
-I run around the house like a crazy lady, getting them fed and dressed so that we can make it out the door by 8AM...that normally does not happen!!  But I am close (you win some, you loose some)
-By 8:15AM (fingers crossed), I am driving to work while enjoying my healthiest meal of the day, Shakeology!!!  I 100% believe in this product!! It has completely changed how I look at nutrition!
---PS, it's not a weight-loss shake!!
-I'll make another post in the car during stop lights and then arrive at work.
...
-After work, I get the boys and wait for daddy to get home. Then we normally have dinner with friends.  It's nice because I only cook about once a week, but it can be a little tricky because I can't control what is being fixed.  So I portion control when we eat something rich.
-We get home, get the boys bathed and start the struggle of getting the boys to sleep.  Little brother is pretty easy and doesn't fight that much.  He's still in a crib and we normally can leave the room when he is almost asleep... Big brother is a completely different story.  Some nights he wants to fall asleep by himself, others, he wants us to lay with him.  The boys share a room and one of the struggles is that we can't just let big brother throw a tantrum because of waking the little one.
-That is one of the most exhausting parts of my day!!
-I finish up a few posts, follow up with any challenger questions/messages, and I get to sleep as fast as possible!!

You will notice in my daily routine that there is No TV and really the only relaxing time I have is in the morning while I wait for my pre-workout to wake me up.  This is why it is worth it to me to wake up so early!!  I am a happier person and my day runs much smoother when I can get these things checked off my list early.  This is how I like to structure my day, but the beauty of this business is that you can fit it in to every nook and cranny you have whenever that may be.  If you are a night-owl, this business can work for you! If you are an early bird like me, if you work full-time or part-time job, if you have no kids or ten kids.  It is all in how you fit it into your day.

If you are wondering if becoming a coach could change your life, I would love to talk to you about how this business can help you achieve your goals.  Our next apprenticeship group begins next week, so you are just in time to start fresh over the holidays and build momentum before the new year!! Just facebook message me or email me. I can't wait to hear from you!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!
:)

Happy 3rd Blog-aversary!!

It's been three (3) years to the day since I began blogging.  I've taken a LONG break lately as I have had many transitions in my life.  But in the past few weeks, I've been considering sharing more about the next stage of this journey called life with you all. In three short years, I have gone from motivating others to experiencing weight gain and depression.  Being delivered from said depression and fighting to lose the weight.  I'd say sometimes in life, motivation shows up in the difficult times and then sometimes it's no where to be found-- a bit of a roller coaster really. And about a year ago, I was tired.  Tired of not getting enough sleep, tired of the structure and I needed a break.  This break cost me about 20 lbs and goodness has it been tough to get my mind right again.  But I'm experiencing life!!  Enjoying the moment!  And making memories with my family and friends that have been so good for my soul. And in this season, ...

The Summit...Would You Start Over?

So as most of you know, I went to Nashville last month for Beachbody's national convention called Summit.  It is the most amazing event where people who's purpose is to help others get together, share wonderful ideas/trainings and completely refill your cup before you go back home. This year one of the speakers was talking about completing a workout program in it's entirety when we returned home.  And they were telling us not to start over if we hit some bumps in the road.  Now, I for one, am a habitual "starter over" so I probably turned a little red (those who know me know how a can get flushed in a split second).  In a room of about 14k people, I was feeling like they were talking right to me. But then the best example was given...when you begin a hike/climb up a mountain, if you didn't like how fast you went or your progress in the first few hours, would you start over??? Um...NO way!!  That seems like a no-brainer.  There's no way that you would ...

Big Barrel Souvenir

This past weekend I experienced my first music festival, Big Barrel in Dover, Delaware.  We were able to see Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Lynrd Skynrd and many others.  It was a super fun and a much needed get-away.  Get-Away was the key word!!  I got away from all of my healthy eating habits too!! If following the 21 Day Fix eating plan, it would have been a weekend full of cheats and yellows.  I had loaded baked potato, pulled pork sandwiches, fries and Olive Garden Pasta.  I'm coming clean!  I don't feel guilty because it doesn't happen all the time, but I don't feel GOOD!  My body is mad at me and I can feel it.  I stepped on the scale this morning and saw a 5lb weight gain!!!  Ahhhh!!  Five pounds of bloat and crap in just three days!  Not exactly the souvenir I was hoping for... So, now what do I do???  I hop right back on my routine.  I'm beginning the 21 Day Fix Extreme today along with...
