How The Treat Can Trick You!

It's here!!  The first day of the holiday season that can potentially throw us into a tailspin. This year tell yourself (OVER AND OVER), "not me, not this year!" Give yourself that affirmation EVERY time you are tempted with candy and foods until New Year's! Now, I'm all for a cheat meal! So if you have planned it right and tonight is the night, then go for it; however, if not, don't let it take you off the course you've set for yourself.  A few tips that will help::  >Drink your Shakeology while Trick-or-Treating!  It will satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you full when you are normally famished, because there is no time to eat after getting home from work and wrestling your kids into their costumes.  >Drink as much water thoroughout the day as you can! This also has a lasting effect and will help keep you fuller. Many times when you "feel" hungry, you are simply dehydrated.  >Make the commitment to burn off whatever you eat!! Refer to ...

A Day in the Life- What do I do as a beachbody coach?

Becoming a Beachbody Coach has been one of the biggest blessings in the past five months. I originally signed on as a coach to get a discount on my Shakeology; but after my sponsoring coach put me into an apprenticeship program, things began to click!  I could inspire and motivate others to accomplish their goals while accomplishing mine too. Making a difference in people's lives has always been a dream of mine, but because I am introverted, I could never figure out a way to actually do it.  A few of you have expressed interest in becoming a coach or finding out more, so I wanted to give you a preview of how I fit my business activities into a workday.  I work part-time when it isn't tax season and full time during tax season. Here's a little snapshot from a normal working day: 4:45AM WAKE UP!!! (My alarm begins to go off at 4AM, and I snooze it until then, it's like tricking myself into thinking I got more sleep than I was supposed to) - while I'm still i...

Round 2 Week 1 Fix Update

Another 1.6 lbs lost!!  I'm super excited about these losses EVERY week, because just a month ago, I was so frustrated with my plateau that lasted for 6 weeks!!   One thing I have noticed is that I am fuller faster. Even when I have a cheat meal (like last night), I couldn't finish the half-portion that my husband and I split. It felt good!!  Because I know I don't NEED that much. I just WANT that much. So how will my routine look from now on... As I said last week, I have no definite date for a competition because I know I need to get the fluff off before I can go into a season of prep. However, I don't want the eating routine to be such a big change and the 21 day fix has me covered with that. It's called the 3 Day Quick Fix. It's packed with lots of protein and veggies!!  I plan on doing the 3 day quick fix every two weeks. With the first round starting next Monday.  I'll be eating some carbs in the morning but then after that it will be a serving of prot...

Letting The Cat Out of The Bag

Let me start by saying, No, I'm NOT pregnant. We have two beautiful boys and are so grateful for them!!  Not trying for a third right now :) So I've let you in on a few hints that I have this HUGE goal for next year and I haven't even said what it is. That's because I've been scared!  I've only told a few family/friends about this and that was scary too. Afraid of judgement and the fact that others will have expectations of me and that I'm not strong enough yet. But I've got to put that STUFF aside!  For the past five months this I've been thinking about it.  Thinking, "um... Really?  This is the goal that I want to achieve?" And the more I think about, the more I tell myself, "yes." Why not? So here goes the first step, (deep breath)... in 2015, my goal is to compete in a bikini competiton (yikes!!).  There it is!  For some, you may ask why? And I've thought about this a lot because I have asked myself that same thing. So in ...
