Nothing like a two month sabbatical from blogging (oops!!). Sorry to leave y'all hangin.' Anyways....I wanted to give a quick update on what is going on as the end of 2015 quickly approaches. How is it that time just keeps moving faster and faster?
There's a VERY new adventure for me. This past weekend I became a Cize Live Instructor. I cannot wait to begin teaching!! It was a goal of mine to this time last year to become TurboKick certified, but when Cize was launched at Summit, my sites shifted. Our master trainer explained it perfectly when she said, "it's like coming to class and being in a music video every time." You will learn all of the moves for a routine and by the end of the class, you will be able to "perform" it (aka, Cize it Up). So be on the look out for more details as I get everything set up ;)
There's one other goal that I shared on my blog about a year ago too that I have chosen not to achieve this year. Some of you may remember when I shared about competing in a bikini competition in 2015. Well, for those that see my pictures, you may be thinking- she certainly doesn't look like she's training for anything.
You're right!! I have decided NOT to compete this year or anywhere in the near future. Does it mean I have failed me? I say NO. I say that my focus changed when I went to Summit and worked out with Shaun T and Chalene Johnson. They both drove the idea home that fitness is about feeling good and living your best life possible. From then on, eating was not going to be something stressful or super strict. I have lost about two pounds in the last six months and KNOW when I need to tighten the reigns on my food choices.
I do plan to refocus and see what results I can get with the Fix Extreme again this year before my upcoming Florida trip; however, the bikini competition body is not a goal of mine for this year. Will my mind change, maybe- but maybe not. And if I never compete, as long as I am feeling good and living my best life, then I consider that success.
I have changed my focus from "having" to workout, to feeling blessed that I am "able" to workout. So many would love to have this opportunity to sweat and yet it something that we can take for granted.
And if you would like to get moving and feeling your best, contact me on facebook or at NicoleZedlitz@gmail.com
I would love for you to be a part of my team or my upcoming challenge group.
